Problem with car!

was driving along about 20 mins ago hit a pothole was doing about 40mph and it jumped out of gear so i put it back in gear and now its in a limp mode little coil looking light is on on dash just read that Hixxey has a simliar problem but i cant reply in his thread any ideas what this is and how i get it out of it

car is a 2003 1.2 16v billabong

You need it plugged into a computer to see the fault could be a number of things a connection come loose etc.
