problem with clutch please help!!!

hello my 172 phase 2 the clutch just does feal right when pulling off the bite is all or nothink and when you lift the clutch right up you get a bump/jerk when the car moves off this is really anoying when in traffic stoping and starting,and because of this its really easy to stall,the car drives perfect and clutch never slips

please help

Well my mk2 172 has a very stiff clutch too, a right b**ch in long traffic jams, iirc they all do.

you might need a new clutch cable.

Try a new proper Renault clutch cable often fixes the problem

Try oiling/greasing the cable a bit.
