Problem with wii

Hahaha sounds personal

So anyway i got this nintendo yesterday and ive tried putting it through my plasma tv.The only picture i can find on the whole telly is in black and white.
It looks as though ive plugged it all up ok ,but has anyone got any ideas where ive gone wrong

iffy connection?

Its plugged into the SCART but you are trying to view an S-Video channel on the telly, but the telly doesnt support s-video properly?

NTSC set up on the Wii and it should be set to PAL?

could be anything mate.
