Problem?

Car  BMW M135i & E46 M3
I was driving down the dual carriage way today after getting my new alloys balanced and the car started to kind of bounce and swerve a little when i picked up a little speed and turned a little.
the new alloys i have got feel a lot lighter than the original ones and i was wondering if this is normal and is going to be a problem.
would lowering the car resolve this problem?
cheers
(sorry if this doesnt make any sense!)

Assuming that you had new tyres fitted on the alloys? Even if they aren't, if they're rotational (Will have an arrow pointing forwards towards the front of the car) and they're backwards, it'll handle like a 3 legged camel.
