Program For Blank Media Information?

I recently purchased some blank media on ebay and received them in separate plastic wallets with no proof of what the blank media is.

Is there any programs I can get that will tell me what the blank media in my dvd drive is? So that I can be sure I got what I paid for.

dvd decrypter tells you what your media is if you put it in iso write mode i use it all the time i usually get ritek g05 dye but at mo got TYG02 as they where cheaper then my usual dvd's £8 for a 50 pk at the ash com fair
