Program original remote

Hey,

My original remote broke (something snapped off on the print) and I've been using an after market set which works fine, but after dropping the key fob yesterday, the flippy thing is now jammed. I tried taking it apart but it kind of exploded in my face.
So I'd like to use the original central locking system again, can I just go down to the scrappers, take a IR reciever and key out of there, swap blades and program it by that trick you do while inside the car? As far as I know, only 1 remote has ever been programmed to my ecu.

Thanks in advance.

Ok so apparently you can't program an already existing key. So I managed to solder a button on the original key's circuit board and now the locking system is functional again. However, I've noticed that the indicators don't blink when locking/unlocking the car. I've seen Clios where the indicators do blink, or is that only for the models with the RF system instead of the IR?
