Project “Ronda”

Hi, new to forum but thought people might like to see my project I have been building in the background over the last year.

For me the enjoyment of these sorts of projects is the fabrication and the building of the car.
Hope you all enjoy ?

Car is currently 99% completed but thought I would start at the beginning and show you the highs and lows of the build............

Looking forward to reading about this if it’s what I think it is!

As a track day enthusiast for the last 15years I have owned a whole host of different cars from supercharged rwd mazdas to turbo charged Hondas and everything in between but always found that for me I just get on better and set faster lap times in a FWD application.

The story for me started when I was asked by a work colleague if I wanted to share a drive in his clio as I had recently sold my last track car and was in the transition of working out what to replace it with? After a couple of evenings I knew I just had to have one of my own.
What a great chassis?

The following week I found myself in Hull handing the cash over and returning with my very own 182, I wanted a basically std car which this was, the previous owner had fitted a Milltek back exhaust but otherwise it was bone stock.
A great base car for the plans I had at the right price.

Once home I gave the car a quick check over and did the usual compression and leak down test on the engine, everything was in healthy condition so when your lucky enough to own your own set of rollers why not power test the car? She produced a healthy 181.9bhp not bad for being nearly 15years old.
