As some of you may know I do a spot of Bodywork from time to time.
Heres one of my latest. Im not a fan of bodykits etc but I enjoy making them fit... this one especialy. Its a mix and match of different parts of corsa kits and every part hasnt fitted perfectly without serious fabrication! its a right ball ache and goes to show how crap cheap bodykits are. First off I fitted the arches, then the sideskirts which were 4 inches too long for the car. the front and rear bumpers dont match the arches so they needed alot of work. Ive cut the front bumper in half to lose 3 inches out the middle as it was just too low when on the car and fitted a boot smoothing pannel. still alot of work to do but its getting there:

Just want to add.... this isnt my car, the owner is paying me to do it!

Yeah I thought about scrapping it, but its a fairly rust free J plate valver!

The colour is BMW pepper white (off the minis) looks ok in the flesh, just needs flatting and polishing!

Great effort from the looks of it. Looks wise, I'd rather pay to be Anne Widdecombe's muff slave than to drive it. But I can imagine the hordes of Max Power readers that would want that.

Im with you on this.

Hate bodykits with a passion but they work well for a kit, however the same cannot be said about the front a rear bumper. FailBoat for one?

Doesn't matter that most of us don't like it fella, its not to my taste, but the world would be boring if we all liked the same

More importantly fair play for having the skills to be able to do that mate, id really love to be able to have the skills to do that, in fact id love to be in the same situation, i think making custom bits like that is really rewarding, as long as the owners happy and your happy with the work then thumbs up
