Project OCD Inferno

I was originally looking for a 172 due to my budget, however when I went to view this car I just couldn't turn it down. 44k, immaculate and the belts had been done, so we struck a deal. A week later it was mine.

However the car was parked up at my Grandmas for a month as I couldn't afford to swap the insurance over from my 1.2 16v (as it was £1000 extra :S). This however gave me plenty of time to get some work done on the car.

When I went to view it;

I was over the moon, I had been wanting a 182 for ages and the feeling had set in that this is mine! Took some more photos once it was back at my Grandma's.

I love good quality audio, and french tin cans aren't exactly the best for that so I purchased an amp from a forum member, and went and brought some carpet and component speakers.

Que the car being ripped to pieces during the second day of ownership.

Standard v after-market speaker cable;

Crossover wiring;

Amp mounting box;

Unfortuantly I don't have any finished photos

Hated the stickers that was on the car, they wasn't even level. Time to sort them out...

I'm sure it will be in great hands with Ryan! I think he will be starting a project thread on here too so you can keep up to date with what's happening. Saying that it doesn't look like anything needs changing as it's perfect!

As you can probably tell by the title, I have bad OCD when it comes to cars. I like everything to be perfect.

The headlights was slightly hazed at the top, I put a thread up asking for someone in Derbyshire to do these for me.
Dave.. kindly drove over to my Grandmas and sorted them out, I was really pleased with the results!

Have got a very good before photo though.

I do hope the one im looking to buy on Sunday is as nice as this.
350 mile round trip to get an inferno clio 182 ff I didn't think id do lol

I know haha, I should have took your advice ages ago

Cheers mate, it's gone now and I have a subwoofer instead. There was issues with the amp in my car (linky) so gave up in the end. It was such a tidy install as well, I was really happy with how it turned amp. Just a shame about the issues!

Cheers mate, I no longer have it as there was a problem with the amp, that the seller didn't tell me! Have a vibe active sub in atm which I have had for two years and it's brilliant, blows away lots of other different systems!

I couldn't turn it down at the price, I really didn't want a cup at first but it has xenons and a half leather interior now!

Thanks! Only paid £100 for the interior and sold my old one for £60 so it was a cheap upgrade!

Just a Karcher jet wash and snow foam attachment, with some cheapo snow foam. 25l for £40!
