Ok im getting some new springs to day

Sportlines?

advantages and disadvantages of each and lowering amont?

they will be going on a 172 ph1

sportlines lower more than prolines but prolines offer better handling even though sportlines are miles better than standard. thats about the all of it i think!

yh good point, i'd like to fit sportlines, but whick shocks shall i go for??

standard bouncy?? or something stiff and gas forfilled??

im thinking standard for the moment then maby koni dampers later. but 2 peope i have spoken to say OEM suspention is good anyway! so why slash out on more money

you wouldnt go far wrong with koni shocks...adjustable damping too.
I'm not sure, but I thought the Konis were only adjustable so that you could counter wear. In the sense that you can tighten them up a little if they start sagging (hope I'm making myself clear...).

Had both, pro's every time for me. Better handling with better ride. I think the pro's work better with the koni's too, but could be wrong.

IMO sports if you have a cup as they are lighter
and pro if you have the ff
