Proof of NCB

Well, i decided not to renew my insurance with Renault, the robbing b******s) after my years free insurance.

Ive gone with Liverpool Vic, but they want proof of NCB, is this a document?

Should i already have it?

Renault insurance would provide this to Liverpool Vic.

Ring renault insurance and ask them to send you your proof of no claims.

Some companies accept your renewal as this normally has you NCB on.

normally your previous insurer will either send you a document on completion of the full year or if they dont then request they send you a copy stating that you have 1 yr NCB

my free year ends in march. On my old car i had 2 years no claims which ended june or july 2003 with direct line but i took up this free insurance on the 1st of march with reno insurance...who many do i have? 2 or 3? how do i prove this?

Just ring up Renault and ask for proff tghey should send you a letter saying the policy you had wit them was not claimed upon.

Thants what I did with the AA no problems at all.

Regards how many years NCB you have cliopower its two as you cannot built up NCB bonus but having two policy at the same time. However your advantage is that if you do claim then next yr you can say you have 1 yrs NCB bonus from the Renault insurace.

I have the same problem...just gone with admiral...but they want proof of my two yrs. Asked tesco to send me the proof about three weeks ago but they not sent me owt yet...the same with reno, one yrs free, they havent sent me it yet either

I have my proof from direct line so im okay. Jim, didnt you recieve a renewal from tesco? - usually the proof is on there. I knew something sh*t like this would happen (lying salesman) so I kept my existing policy running as i had paid it in full - couldnt possibly crash it cos i didnt have it anymore as it was a part ex.

Just send them a photocopy of your renewal notice as this normally states what the NCB is.
