Protecting a satin finish

What's the crack with waxing a satin finish? Can a normal wax be used, or do you need something a bit more special?

Opaque is the way Gaz, pain in the arse as well fella. Even with the right products.

I don't know why people always scream Swissvax when it comes to matte finishes. Just because it has a sticker that say's "especially for matte finishes" doesnt mean that other products won't work just as well! (something with 'marketing').

Example for wax:

Dodo Juice Supernatural 200ml € 92,49
Swissvax Opaque Wax 200ml € 169,-

The SN works great on matte finishes and is almost half the price.

Or take something even cheaper, a good spray sealant:
