ps3 hdmi stopped working :(

works in AV mode but i get "no signal" on 2 different tvs...

Sounds like you need to carry out the AV reset,

Turn the power off to your PS3, then once the red 'off' light is on, hold the power button for 10-15 seconds. This will reset the AV settings.

done that, thats how i know its the HDMI thats fudged works in AV mode, but resolution is Ps1 worthy!

defo sounds like you need a new hdmi cable replace it then if still no joy call sony

worth pointing out the hdmi cable works with my laptop?

its still worth checking the hdmi cable as it could be a faulty cable that plays about if not then it is probably the ps3 then it will be a call to sony if still under warranty or take it to an independent console repair shop or lastly buy a new ps3
