I prefer my Slim to my launch day console and now I have a new warranty too. I also think it looks better and it fits into my AV rack much better now.

My second 'original' PS3 has just failed, so looks like il be buying a slim. Hope its not a p.o.s like the original.

18 month waranty FTW, Just gotta find a way to get my save data off the 40GB.

Ive got a 60GB but thinking about goint for a slim. With all the games I dont use and the 60gb should get a decent trade

I've got a 360 as well, and the PS3 was much louder than it!, so it had to go.

My launch model has 4 usb slots, memory card slots and is backwards compatible with PS2 games, the warranty is neither here nor there, should a PS3 malfunction outwith the warranty period Sony will replace it 9 times out of 10.

Seems to me with each model released you are getting less and less VFM ok, it has a bigger hard drive but whats the point when it can be replaced within seconds anyway.

This is becoming less and less common though with recent findings. They seem to be pulling in the purse strings.

I have a 60GB refurb after my launch model failed a couple of years ago. I probably won't trade it though.

Nope, Had my PS3 80Gb (Now 300Gb) for a while, it's quiet and very much hidden behind my tv.. It's not worth my while upgrading tbh
