PS3 Slim Hard Drive upgrade??

Ive been given a PS3 slim,but does not have enough memory.has anyone upgraded the memory on one of these please & where is best place to buy the new hard drive?.ive seen that to actual change the hard drive is very easy,just like to know how easy it is to do the software??

Just have to download the latest update to a memory stick normally and plug it in as you boot up console for first time

Bought mine off amazon was a western digital 320gb from memory
