TrueBlue 480 Watt PSU will this be enough to power the system?

Also he might want to bung another 7900 GTO in.

I've bought a lot of Enermax Liberty PSUs here and all the Alienware machines we bought came with Enermax PSUs. Out of 34 two have failed.

If you have money to burn you could get a Tagan PSU. I bought a couple of 900w bad boys recently. They were powering an FX62 with two 7900 GTX Extreme and an Agia PhysX card. Massive overkill, but I had to try one.

Lee have you seen Tagan's new 1.1KW (1100 watt) PSU.. THAT is overkill!!

Yeah, I did see that. Even I couldn't bring myself to spend that sort of money on a PSU. The down side is the amount of cable they have on them is very hard to stuff into a case neatly, plus it's a little longer than normal in size so is a bit of a squeeze in some cases.

Just got one of the new modular corsair ones for my new build solid PSU. And modular cables make it much easier to keep it tidy. and doubt i will need much more than 620w for a while.

I've installed 5 Antec PSUs in the last two years..

4 have gone bang.

1 was a replacement to one going bang.

Good RMA service tho.. but it's in the Netherlands.. so like, £22 odd quid to post one back! :(
