What's everyone think of this xsi?

I've always wanted a 16V xsi in this colour since I was a wee lad. This one has popped up on Facebook not far from me with a reasonable spec. I know it's chav.

I like it except for whatever it is they've done to the front lights.

Oh, and the number plate. Needs to go back where it was.

And the tow strap. Gash.

Basically, put the front back to how it was. Sorted.

The lights are morette jobs which go for £200 plus so I'd look to swap them back to standard.

The seller wants £1500.

Power wise it's probably 140 - 150bhp at a guess.

I would keep your money. I like it but you'd need to do what Cub says. But then you already have a considerably better example.

I like them and had a 1.3 rallye for 2 weeks before wrecking it, best 2 weeks behind a wheel ever..

I also used a £200 1.4xsi as a runner for a year and it was awesome... So good I got another a few years later and it was a total a-hole, mostly due to its herpes paint and alarm..

I love the styling of these over the gti, the xsi 1.6 was basically the gti anyway...
