Pushchair

Can the 182 fit a kids pushchair in the boot - something like a Maclaren techno?

....the boy racers can go to sleep :)

LMAO!!

I would say "use the search" but Ive a feeling this is not something talked about on here very often! hehe

I say go to a shop that sells it (toys r us, mothercare...) and ask them to try it in your boot.

I have both a Mams and papas Pliko and a MacLaren something (cant remember the model, either the techno or the model below) and both of them fit accross the boot without problems. But the only way is to try one in the boot and see.

depends on what size sub your running, lol
LMAO. I did try the search and sure enough - no threads with "pushchair" in them. Even the Lotus elise / exige forums I frequent cover this. You clio folks are just too hardcore! :)

I dont have a car yet - but about to order one methinks.

Am I too old at over 30, or with no interest in subs, neons or how me and my mates blew off a WRX that was ragging it (tell me no) ? :)

Not many fit, 3 wheelers dont. We bought a Jane Carrera C and that fits well.

Well then, either you have the pushchair or not. If you do, go to Renault and try it in a random Clio. If you dont then go to Renault, explain you need a testdrive to mothercare and try it. Also thinking about it, I think I have a Quest not the techno (which is probably a bit smaller)

Oh yeah, thats anothing thing, most of the travel system seats dont fit well in the clio. The back seats were more of a problem than the front. Just depends where you want to put it!

I have a Jane 3-wheeler and it fits in fine! I made sure I took the pram with me when I went to see the car...

The 182 is surprisingly roomy - I have been out on a road trip with mom and baby on the back seat (baby in Jane Matix seat), pram in boot and mom-in-law in front. Still plenty of room for the shopping.

Dont worry about being over 30 mate - it happens to us all in the end. I turned 31 this year and am the happiest I have ever been!

Thanks all.

In a quandry at the moment. Im giving back my company car and cant decide on what to get.

A 182 and save some money or a 2nd hand M3 (2003 ish).

I test drove the 182 with the cup packs and was very impressed - particularly with all the toys like cruise etc which Ive got used to in recent years.

The thing about the 182 for me though is reliability, and depreciation.

M3 if you can afford it (& <20mpg) deffo!

I went from company Accord Type-R to 182 after nearly buying a new STi Type UK - so glad I did - saved a bundle with the opt-out allowance (residuals arent too hot though but as theyre "only" £13k in the first place you wont lose a fortune) and touch wood havent had a single problem in 4k miles. Theres no way a 182 can compare to an M3 in any area though!

Alternatively, a new Octavia vRS or Leon Cupra would also save you some dosh?!

Yer I bought a pram just before the little one arrived and it just sqeezed in the boot. Car them went up in flames so the missus was told

"

Bought my pram whilst I had the Clio and it went in with a bit of a sqeeze. When that went up in flames the missus was pushing a bigger more sensible car so took all of her advice on board and bought the Megane 225.

When I took her to see it her first remark was "Ithought we were getting something sensible" to which I opened the boot and told her the pram would fit in better so she is now chuffed to bits!
