film the cat on your car then make your neighbour pay for the damage!
Wouldnt work, a cat isnt the owners responsibility like a dog is!

my cat jumps on my car, or it has done in the past, Ive tried training her not to go near it, and its working. Seems to jump on dads car instead. and yes it used to scratch it to ****.

I have one those electronic cat scaring alarms. Costs about a tenner or something and runs on two of those little PP3 9V batteries - they last about a month. Cats absolutely cannot stand the thing. We have a number of cat lovers in our street that each seem to have a few of the buggers.

The area where I park my car used to be infested with them, they would be over the gates, walls, fences, cars and often you would often see half a dozen sat in the road behind my car waiting for the owners to get home and give them some food.

Now its like a ghost town, and its rare to see a single cat!!!! In fact I cant remember the last time I saw one! It took a week or so after I installed the device for them all to get the message and learn not to come within a 25m radius of my car. During that time we chased and sprayed everyone we saw with a super soaker, plus sprinkled pepper around and on the walls just to make the area really unpleasent for them.

I used to have paw prints and scratches on my car every time I went to it, it hasnt been climbed on since I installed the device in February!
