Had my 1.6 clio about 6 monthsish now, and when I first got it being 18 none of my mates bar a couple with zetec s and vtr had a car with any poke in it so was feeling pretty damn good!

Anyways, my mates just picked up one of those 2.4 litre 20 valve fiat stilos! God Damn heared powerful things about those cars.......no comparison to mine what so ever.......like i said put in my place!

I owned a stilo arbath not so long ago they are heavy italian rubbish....worse built than a bloody clio!!

They are only 134bhp per tonne, but 221nm of torque and weigh 1264kg kerb weight, they would have been better getting a 172/182

When I had my Punto I so wanted one of these, but they are such a let down.

Is it an auto, most of them are, which again was a negative for me.

Love the claw alloys on them though, they are a must if he has one.

Im not sure, I read online it hits sixty in 8.5, and tops out at 134, thought it would be far quicker than that on paper? Its got a padel shift gear box. semi auto i think.

Not a chance mate, that's why I didn't get one, it's no where near as quick.

8.6 from a 170bhp car thats not as quick as I thought it would be, infact its slower than some 1.6s off the mark, i.e. vts, lupo gti etc... Strange. I imagie it will be quick though the higher gears tho?

170bhp from 2.4 lump = w**k

clio sport = 182bhp = sex wee

That is a bit s*it from a 2.4 engine . My 200 BRM makes 148 BHP and 7.5 to 60 and its only a 1.8 ???
