putting a folder onto a DVD?

right i have a dvd burner,
if I just want to copy a massive folder acorss onto a black disc how do I go baout it?

it contains mainly video and photos but other stuff too pdf files etc.

I just want to copy the whole folder and subfolders onto a disc so it can be put into another pc.

just use something like Nero? quite simple.
