puzzler? help anyone?

i have a mk2 ph1 172 had the norm probs getting there now but just had the interior reaer fog light lighting up then going dim when i press the brake pedal , now if the lights are not on it doesnt do it and if i have the front fogs on it doesnt do it im guessing it s a short but wondering if anyone else has noticed this or could it just be my car is in the xmas spirit ? lol

Interier rear fog light? DO you mean the dash light?

sounds like youve got a bad connection somewhere.

is it the standard rear mk1 172 rear lights you have on? maybe also moisture in the plug, try drying it out with elecroclean and check the power bars on the back of the light to make sure theres no short circuit.
