Like everything LOL. better, build, grip, response, no rattles (yet). available in WHITE.

Against fuel more expensive to run getting 29mpg whereas in the 182 38mpg.

I was looking at getting the white I.D with all the option's including the cup chassis recaros etc.

Is the white stunning.

The white is Superb! A real head turner!
Word of advice (personal taste) The cup spoiler, jimmy hill chin and side skirts from Renault are plastic NOT carbon fibre, and they look it! Personally go for the smaller spoiler (AFTERMARKET) and wait until K-tech have developed a proper Carbon fibre spoiler, splitter and skirts. It will not be long!

  Whichever has fuel
The only thing i didn't like about my 197 was the fuel consumption.

I don't think the thing went above 23mpg. Awful imo.

Loved everything else though. The suspension and brakes were immense!

the only thing I dont like about the 197 compared to the 182 is the poor fuel economy and the lack of mid range power in the 197 when you boot it. I would say you will miss that.
but apart from that, the handling, brakes and feel of the 197 are a lot better

The MPG front seems to be a real issue with the 197, i know a few boys that have Civic Type R's and they dont seem to think there all that bad

Try find them to look at in the flesh re: the colours - I was a bit underwhelmed by the white FF spec.

Likes: colour, feel, fun, great brakes and very good suspension. holds the road like glue

dislike: standard spec even on the full fat is a bit poverty-ish. fuel economy is pish

Like. Standard noise..... as a standard motor, they sound fantasic!!! So much so that imo it needs nothing. Brakes are awesome. Seating posision is FAR superior, as too is the build. I also like the engine, more refined, less gruff higher up the RPM range than the MK2. Also flaired rear quarters/wings and duffuser make it look 'squat' with a nice drop.

Dislikes. Size, a little too big imo. Mine has slight kangaroo problem. Also slightly too buzzy @ 70mph.

as a liquid yellow owner already... i think you'd be mad to choose white over this!

Great handling, awesome sounding exhaust, great seat's are among the good points.... worse than 182 levels of fuel consumption, there are a few issues that people are having... kangarooing and rusting seat subframes seem common on the F1's

on a reverse note, i didnt find the fuel much worse on my 197 from a 172 transition. Granted its a bit worse, but only a few mpg. i think the 172/182 mpg clocks are inaccurate - although ive always found all renaultsports (2.0 ones) cheap to fuel for the performance you get.

My main bug with the car was the low range power. Loved everything else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
