Q about spare wheel

I know neither the 172 or 182 come with a spare wheel as standard but do they have the space in the boot tray for one? Ive looked at a 172 cup and it had the space but does a 182?

spare wheel well done away with in the 182 for the twin exhausts afaik mate.

The 182s twin exhaust pipes use the area where the wheel well would normally be.

You can just stick a spare in the boot if you want.

tyre foam can wouldnt be much use in a blow out mate, although should be fine for punctures.

What about one of those space saving spare wheel things, better than nothing which is what I have at the moment. Where do you get them from and does having 17" wheels cause probs in getting one of them??

Thanks,

Mike.

Mines a MK2 also but has 17" Speedlines and so the previous owner got rid of the spare. This is why Im thinking of getting a space saving spare but dont know where to look??

Oh and the free AA cover you get when u buy a new 182 doesnt cover tyres
but if you pay and extra £50 quid you get the full package for the 3 years or other. including tyres and petrol

put a spare wheel c/w new tyre in the boot yesterday. It fits nice & snug & the cargo net holds it down. Got to be better than tyre weld & I am off to Germany in 2 wks so am happier with a spare in the boot :)
