quality question clio 1,4rt gearbox

Are they bad.... Can they take some rough driving i ´ve heard that renault makes bad gearboxes is it true?

My old 1.4 rt has had really terrible treatment from me... alot of crunching... and alot of the time me putting my whole body wait on it to hang on round a corner Still fine
