Hi guys, few questions;
I had the car booked in at RenTech in Edinburgh today for a service and a check of the timing (the belts were done in November 2011). I had my suspicions as to whether the correct timing tools were used as it didn't feel as 'urgent' as the rest of the Clio RS' I've had. Anyway, turns out when they checked it, it was out right enough. Not by much, but out all the same. Wish i got a picture now, the horse shoe(?) wouldn't line up on the non cambelt side the guy showed me.
Now here's my question, just how much is it really affected being out slightly? They still have the car and are going to rectify it on Monday which is good. (Even If it is costing me £80!) But that's not their fault, life goes on!
Also, i gather MPG would be ever so slightly affected as well? The car ran sweet as a nut btw, nothing other than my slight suspicion of it being out made me get it checked!
Cheers!
