Where should the v6 plaque be with the limited number?

i think they are behind the seats from what ive heard but i may be wrong

Bollo# that means mines been nicked or the previous owner that sold it to the garage took it off. Have to contact the previous owner or Renault to see if I can get a replacement, that will be fun, not!

Does anyone know if the number would be written down anywhere else, paperwork etc..
