Basicly are they worth buying? Depends what you want how much you have etc.

roughly how quick are they? 65 model has about 70hp the 80 has about 85 (they are always quicker then the real offical numbers suggest)

0-60 is better than spec top speeds about right. How quick do you deem quick are we talking on track? Theres a vid on youtube of one going to 120 on the clock which is about 110mph in real life (65hp model). There a few video of it on track as well which might help give you an idea how quick the 65 is.

How good are they on fuel? I get about 55mpg all the time (I have a long drive to work but drive very hard realy). Worst I ever get is 28 on track. I've seen 85mpg but that was going very careful.

I've seen high 60mpgs at 80mph on the Autobham (no real it is) But my speedos a bit out by about 5mph due to the fact its out anwyay and I've got the wrong sized tyres which are a bit smaller than stock but there cheaper.

whats the price range? Depend what your looking for £2k to £14k I think. What ae you looking for?

  a thirsty one
my wife has the dci 65bhp model and we have just travelled from manchester to oxford from oxford down to brighton and back to oxford then finally back upto manchester on 1 tank of fuel thats about 40 pound and 550 miles. crusies fine on the motorway however i would prob try and get the 85bhp model just to help a little when overtaking on uphill stretchs of motorway the 65bhp can be left struggling a bit when pulling into fater moving lanes etc

well im going to try and p/x my car witch is a 1.2 16v 02 witch has done about 133k. dont know how much i will get for it though, i will have about 3k saved. yh i dont think i would go for the 65bhp, i was looking for a car faster than mine but not too exspensive to run. im 18 do you think a dci would be a good car to get? oh and how much would u reckon insurence would be?

best check forminsuracne it depends on the companies some want more for it that 1.2's other want less.

Won't get much for a 133k 1.2 best try private but you won't get much at all unfortunatly.

The 65hp is about 70hp though and it seesm quicker than a 1.2 16V although in theory it shoulnd't be the torque makes you think it is.

133k fuk sake thats nearly as high as my old 02 plate on 140k lol

i beleive the 85bhp model has an intercooler and the 65 doesnt so thats a thing to think about if your considering remaping it in future.

  Whichever has fuel
a 1.2 clio on 133k is worth about £500 i'm afraid, but that still gives you £3500 to spend on a clio. You should pick up a dci 80 for that if you look far and wide enough.
