I need 4 x 195/50/15 tyres.

Mainly for track use, but a little road use too so R888's are out the question.

Can I have some recoendations from people that have actually had these tyres??

I've had Toyo's, Parada spec 2's, Eagle F1's but want to know if there are any other recomendations?

Thanking you please.

gsd3's f1's or pe2's both have done well for me on track rainsport 1or 2 are also very very good :)

Toyos as they are cheap enough to kill - get the pressures right and they are ok in the dry.

If you want 195/50 F1's get them quick as when stocks in that size are gone they are gone ...

Toyo T1R's be it in 195/45 - playing around with the pressures has made a big difference to what works and what doesn't on track.

There is meant to be a new Yoko coming out later in the year we are keeping an eye out for.

might sound gay, but get two sets of wheels and swop them over per track day... get some proper tyres for track Slicks make a lot of difference and shitty budget tyres for day to day use...

45s? Is that to reduce sidewall flex? Or is it a size thing?

Edit* Rexe, i'd love to but just can't be arsed. It may be a case of having 30 minutes notice of doing a track day so I just want to 'arrive and drive'.

Size thing, 106 needs 45 profile to keep the rolling radius correct. I have 195/45 Toyos on my 15's but want to change them for Exaltos, but it is 70 quid a tyre not 40 :(

195 T1R's are cheaper still.

good call matey arrive drive have fun go home... some people take it too far by really going crazy with setup, tyre changes pressure changes etc etc at track days.

its better, just is, i said so, the end ;)

Good enough for me!

Do they allow a bit of movement?? I drove a car on 888s once and it gripped a bit too much if that makes sense.

Took all the fun out of it.

Ask Riz, he'll tell you how much mine moves on 205's. Scared of oversteer that boy.

Warren, Care to expand??

(I still owe you a fiver btw!)
Took the cars out for a spirited drive last night, let the Caribbean queen have a go in mine. He got the arse very out of shape on an island with some funny camber. Just changed from 195's. Still adjustable, but better traction and less understeer.
