Quick de-cat question

Hi I have a de-cat on my 1996 1.2 Clio and im wondering if I left it on when it comes MOT time if I will pass the emissions or just fail because I dont have a cat??

Likely to fail, so not worth the possible expense of a retest..

Most charge now MOTs are computerized, they don’t have to, but you will be hard pressed to find one that does free retests…

Damn forgot they gone computerised :/ Looks like im gonna do some modding to my exhaust system

unless you can find an mot garage that will do the mot with the decat still on

Nationwide autocentre ( halfords ) retested mine for free last November and that was the new computerised system .

Might have been after i kicked off about it failing on brake imbalance and asking them to stick it back on the rollers and prove it .
