Quick help please - Brake question.

Reckon I need some replacement brake pads, EBC are just down the road to me and have quoted £69.95 for the fronts (Green stuff) inc fitting + VAT. Is this a fair price and are they any good?

Due to go down in 30 mins....

for 172/182, then yeah, make sure they're the new model with the chamfered edges and "bed in layer"

Yeah sorry it is a 172 mk2, these are from the EBC factory in Northampton and being fitted there so assume they are the new ones, how long have they been out?

ring them up and ask, i haven't got the part number on me, but can get it

ask if they have the "red bedding in layer" on the face of the pads, and also are the edges of the pads chamfered in

they're very good, much better than their past efforts

Fred, if you could get the part number I would appreciate it (if its not to much hassle). Now going to my local tyre fitter 2mrw who have quoted £70 inc VAT and fitting.
