Quick injector question

How do you get the injectors out of the fuel rail??

No clips or anything?, Just a case of pulling ??

Yep take the 2 10mm bolts off the fuel rail unplug the connections and pull

Spray a little penetrating lube on them if they are tough getting in or out.

haha i knew it would fool someone lol Nah easy to remove from the car but wasnt sure how to remove from the actual rail

Theres metal sliding clips that you pull out.

Well it turned out the ones on my car were just a case of pulling off as the clips hadnt been put back on after tuning a few years back

Were still held in solid so didnt cause any probs.


I have another question, bit geeky.

Took a spare set of injectors in to be cleaned as i didint want my car off the road while it was getting done.

Turned out 2 of the injectors where duff and the other two are fine which means im going to have to mix with the injectors currently on the car ie put the 2 clean ones on, take two off the car thats currently on and send them away to be cleaned

Is mixing and matching injectors from a different set perfectly fine??

Pretty sure it will be but just want to make 100% certain
