Quick insurance question

  H&R + Pole Position'd Cup
If I add someone else as a named driver on my policy and I crashed and made a claim.. would this in any way affect the named drivers own policy and their no claims on another car?

Also if I crashed or was crashed into and the driver I crash into claims through their insurance, I would have to do it through mine as well yes. But if it was proven not to be my fault It wouldnt affect my no claims and I'd get my excess back, right?

Not that I'm planning on crashing into anyone...

If they accept 100% blame they pay up fully you have to declare but NCB isn't affected you have to declair any crashes when your driving the car een if NCB ins't affected and its the other persons fault. If your to blame and go through your policy in any way its a claim and affects your NCB unless you have protected NCB.

Cheers matey.

So guessing it wouldnt make a difference if the named driver had company insurance either?
