Quick Photoshop Fix Needed

Hello photoshoppers of CS.

I am having a problem and it is really annoying me.

In photoshop i have a background colour of ced2b5. It looks fine. I then save the image as a jpeg or a gif (it doesn't matter as I have tried both) it then comes out as a light blue colour. This is really bugging me now. I have reinstalled CS3 and still have this problem. The colour settings are all default RGB too.

Any ideas? :S

you using , save for web? ... you sure you are selecting maximum jpeg , or if gif you arent choosing less colours?

This is for both saving for web and save image as.... I think it might be something to do with calibrating the monitor.... But CS3 doesnt come with adobe gamma?

Nope the colour I am after is like a dark brown/green
