How is that.Would you respray the small dented area .If so i would not like to see the state of your car after a minor accident. You would respray the full door, which means rubbing the door down anyway. If you put wax on it it will come off after a couple of washes.Come on use the head.MRBILLYUK said:If its gonna be a while before you have time to repair it, i'd just put a couple of layers of wax over the chip to seal it , keep out the moisture .
If you lacquer it , its gonna create work , removing the lacquer before you can attempt a repair , imo .

Did i mentioned anything about the dent ?? NO I DIDN'T . Use your eyes before you use your mouth in future .
It sounds like its just a small car parking dent . Lots of PDR companies out there " should " be able to sort it !
Using a good wax will help to keep out the moisture until the time comes for her to get it repaired .
Who mentioned anything about her washing it ?? For all we know she might not wash it , eh !! :rasp:
