Quick question - my computer is recognising my Ipod Touch as a camera?

As title, when I plug my Ipod Touch (1st generation I think, about 5 years old!) in to my computer, it recognises it as a Digital camera?! All i'm wanting to do is transfer my songs from my Ipod to my computer, I can only seem to access the pictures on my Ipod (hence it registering it as a camera).

That's normal.

You can't just drag and drop the songs from your ipod to your computer, without jailbreaking it.

I swear I've done it before somehow? Just can't seem to remember how, I did it only months ago putting all my songs onto my iTunes to then put them onto my current iPhone? Weird!
