Quick question: Same pump ?

Do 172 / 182 Clio's use the same power steering pump as the rest of the Clio range ??

I may be wrong, but I thought Clio Sports had hydraulic power steering assistance, whereas all, or at least some of the rest of the Clios had electric power steering. Hydraulic assistance, I'm told, has better "feel" than electric.

that may be because the electric power steering is variable and provides different assistance at different speeds. you have to get used to it. i prefer hydraulic.

same pump different pully as the 172/182 use a 6 groove v belt the others a 3 groove belt
