the reason Im asking is that when I got my michelin tyres replaced, the garage said that the wheel nuts and key were non reno, and as one of them was cross threaded I would have to buy a new set and a new key. the original was silver and the nuts had 5 holes. the dealer said that all reno clio 172s have the same key!! 3 hole nuts with a small black t shaped key!! is this correct!
that key they are on about is the key to get the cap off the center of teh wheel not a locking wheel nut key and yes its 3 prong or well mine is and every other one i can remember
Yeah, its a 3 pronged thingy, I had a flat a month ago on the German autobahn, by the time Id slowed down the tyre was completly fooked, didnt damage the wheel though, thank god.
t key is for the wheel caps, the locking wheel nuts are a single one peice shape.they did away with the locking wheel nuts with the pins because they used to break.
