Quick release steering boss for rallying

Does anyone know if a quick release steering boss needs to be FIA approved or MSA approved or anything to be able to race in national rally's or anything?

Nope not that Ive read in the blue book and Ive seen cheap ebay quick releases passed by scruitineers all over the shop

That will do well I can get a quick release from a fella that does all rally parts etc for £80 but said he didn't think it was fia approved so was double checking
