Quickest 60ft poss in a clio 1*2 on road tyres..

Just wondering whats the quickest realistic 60ft time in a clio on standard road tyres on an average surface...

My 172 does 64 feet in 2.75 secs in the dry 3.04 in the wet.

all i could manage in the alfa and meg was around 2.3 in the dry but i know someone who recons he got a 1.8...

Iv got a 2.1, a 1.8 is what my mate was getting in his Elise running near slicks.....

I got 2.225 at santa pod in a standard valver on budget tyres..

No way 1.8 imo unless 4wd or a timing error imo. Obviously if you throw to much power at it then it will only get worse

My 64ft time for my cup racer is 2.64. On rally tyres using a closed part of the public highway our club uses for sprints. I reckon i can get it down to high 2.4's low 2.5's but its not a drag strip so there isnt as much grip. On the same day there was a 270hp mk2 escort rally car doing 2.3's so my car was actually doing pretty well.

Yeah i thought this as there was a 600 bhp gtr at the local drag day and its acheived 1.89.... so i thought it must have been a timing error.... but wasnt sure if once the timing gear is set up it would only show a red light if there was a jump or error....
