What oil would my clio 172 PH1 use ? ?

Whack some 10w40 in it if you're desperate, but I'd say it's a bit late if it's knocking tho

If you've got a knocking and low oil level as said topping it up isn't going to resolve the issue.

oh you mean a tappety noise, then that could be a sticky lifter & low on oil

where is the noise exactly? if it's the top of the engine u should be ok, if it's the bottom part of the engines it could well be fooked

I'd get a proper mechanic to take a look, RAC men aren't usually the sharpest.

yer getting it taken in to the place whee the warranty is held, tapping mate. right under engine cover. seems like lack of power? could it cut out also ?
