Quiet Magnex

Got my magnex exhaust yesterday and seems to really quiet. So much so its not much louder than the standard one! Is this right for a 3" round cat back system?

Magnexs are generally quiet but not usually as quiet as standard ones.. you can tell you have a modded exhaust with one, just its a nice slight increase.

my full magnex which i had fitted at xmas is loud as!! especially when its hot!

Get a straight through de-cat, thatll make it louder.

If you wanted it loud you should have got a K-Tec!

yeah mine gets louder when its warm, take it on the motorway and sit at 4000, its like concorde.

the first time i dropped into 2nd to overtake someone i almost loss control cos i was laughing so much, but when driven normally they are just a bit boomier

if you want noise get a decat pipe

Mine makes plenty noise!

Magnex systems are not loud. They just make a nice raspy noise, and make the engine purr.

Also, you have to give time for carbon deposits to build up. Then it will get louder.

Mine was very quiet when it was brand new, and I was a bit disappointed. Now it makes just the noise I want. Its worth every penny spent.
