lol, aye seems a bit strange that....!

If you dont get speedlines on the 200 your a mentalist, i just cannot like those standard wheels :(

  LY 200
Have you seen them in the flesh mate? I hated them from the pictures but as someone else said earlier they really suit in the flesh!

I dont really like the speedline rims but i do like the idea of black on black! Think RB with them would look ace too though!

Yeah, Kenny off here has one, he was kind enough to bring his down to give me a nose around..!

I like them but i really love the speedlines, especially as its only a £150 option (iirc?)

Yeah was chatting to Kenny briefly over PM!

He went for RB didnt he? Lovely in the flesh in that colour arnt they!?

I think the wheels are a £175 iirc but as said earlier looking at that options list it could get abit tasty price wise speccin one yourself! lol

Absolutley stunning in the flesh mate, the front end (although a grower) is actually pretty nice...!

Aye hes a top lad the boy Kenny..! Took me a spin, the doors shut just like a Hondas doors shut lol

Seems very well put together aswell even although it is a new car!

Is it a step up from a 172/182? Id say so....!

  LY 200
Yes i really hated the front until i see it in the flesh too mate but like the wheels i actually like it now!

It is a very well put together car too! I remember saying when i got in one and took it for a spin it felt more BMW than Renault and even though it doesnt feel as quick as the 182 its definetly the better car in all other areas imo.

  LY 200

My bad mate :p

Feel the love :eek::eek:

I will try get some decent pics of mine Jay so you can have a look but hardly any of the pics do the car justice imo.

Kenny if you ask young Adam nicley im sure he will get some pics of your car...

hes quite handy with a camera!

Racing Blue with all black bits would look superb.

Make sure you get the projector lamps too, the standard lights look guff (like on the 197), plus you can then add a HID kit :)

Defo needs the smaller spoiler too IMO. Oh and some KW V1's

It's probably something to do with being unable to house the washers in the front diffuser for some reason...?

Hmmm, thinking of changing the Trophy and the question that I think about is if I'm going to go for a 197 or 200 which is the best bearing in mind cost.

R27 is £11,500 - 2007 say 20k miles
197 with Cup Packs is £11,500 ish - 2008
200 is £15,000 - 2009 say 5k miles

Thoughts.

Tbh, for that much cash, why get another Clio?

If i was in your shoes and was using my car everyday it would have been the 200 all day long but fact is i was/am in a different boat to you mate!

As for why buy a Clio for that much!? Perhaps a lowish milaged new/newish car with warrenty is wanted and a capable one at that!

For the money you wont get another 2008 onwards car thats as good imo.

My Trophy is running low mpg now anyway which has bridged the gap between this and a 200.

The other option is that I am considering getting a Pug 306HDI with the Gti-6 alloys. Should be about £1,500 for a niceish car that'll do about 50 mpg as I'm going to be doing more miles soon which may/will make the Trophy a better option.

If I keep the Trophy long term it'll get the Mark Fish suspension and a couple of other trinkets.

Jamie - I think you can probably knock £1k-£1.5k off the price of a 200 in your calculations :)

R27's seem to be holding up well too 10k still. Don't seem too many 200's knocking about s/h either. Would consider a 197 but look quite dated compared to the 200 now and dare I say it, I think the 200 looks better! LY, black speedlines, Recaros, Cup pack, GT spoiler and a 50% discount would do me nicely.

Everyone is having too much fun in their 200 to sell it, I'm sure there will be plenty filtering onto the market over the next year, play the waiting game Jamie ;)

I'm embarrassed mine still only has 2700 miles on it since Oct 09... Always working all over the show around the world and it sits in the garage collecting dust, hoping to use it more since my travel is buggered this week by a volcano cloud
