R888s - Noisy when cold?

Are R888s noisy when cold? I've had a new noise since fitting them but only when the car is cold.

If you drive along new Tarmac it sounds like you have a swarm of bees chasing you.

If you gain in one area with tyres you lose in another. Noise levels take a hit when it comes to track rubber.

As above, Most Proper R tyres are noisy as f**k. The performance outweighs the downsides though IMO. Even with the lower end stuff like 888's.

They all are, as @-Jamie- says.

I found Dunlop Direzza's a tiny bit quieter than 888's.

I run R888, and tbh I can't really hear them over the exhaust/ IK and rattles TBH.

I'm still sure something is broken, but the car has gone through it's MOT and a trackday. This weird noise is still there though, for now I'll blame the tyres!

I was gonna fit my 888 to the spare set of OZ F1 I have in the shed but think i'll leave the Michelin PS3 on until I actually get to the track lol
