Race heater arrived - Did yours look like this?

Hey all...

The race heater arrived earlier today, so. I got it out of it’s packaging to get a few photos.
I noticed straight away, that the paint had been flaking!

I know it’s only cosmetic, but isn’t £120 supposed to buy you a nice new product?

What are your thoughts?

I wouldn’t accept it. Speak to the seller and arrange getting a new one.

It's not even in a place that would get damaged in transit!

Doesn’t even look like it’s been etch primed, so no surprise the paints flaking off.

I’ve emailed and messaged the seller and await the reply.

I didn’t think it looked good at all but wondered if it was a normal thing with this material type

Straight away the guy said he would cover the cost... he was sound about it all. I just hope he checks the replacement heater before it’s sent out ??

Yes mate, via their eBay shop.
Unfortunately they’ve been a bit long on the replacement but it arrives tomorrow. If this one is bad I don’t know what I’ll do as I need it ASAP

New item has arrived and it’s in good shape...
Things should hopefully be moving in the right direction shortly ?
