Racing car preparation web sites...

  Renault 5 GTE
Guys,

Could you give me some links with car builders in UK, where I can see some details about preparing a rally car...

Something like http://www.guy-croft.com, but not only engine wise...other aspects (suspension, body etc) also...

Thanks, hope I'm not too demanding ;)

Riker,
Depends where you are,but for a complete car build have a look at http://www.pro-tecmotorsport.com they are based in the Northwest,They have rolling road facilities, and all the neccessary equipment.Mark Durham,co-owner ran a self built Vauxhall Corsa on the Tour of Mull rally a couple of years ago and finished 8th o/all against Impreza's,Evo's and the like. They have a wealth of experience, worth a chat.I think the sites listed by aaronc are primarily race/rally car suppliers for the specialist parts.Another guy in the Northwest, who does rally preparation work, and manufactures "one-offs" is http://www.aframeengineering.co.uk if you contact him,ask for Mick, and mention me ~~ Rod,with the Clio's.He is currently looking after a Porsche, for the historic Rallying, and also a leading runner in the Peugeot 205 championship. If you need further help, please feel free to contact me.I have only been into rallying since 1975 !!!
