I dont race in built up areas or roads with concealed junctions etc. You can race on the road without been a prick and endangering yourself so yeah its a fair point you make there Dan k. Theres a time and a place and it definately not 1/4 miling outside an infant school at playtime.

I dont get that many races really... Even in my Williams which has a LOUD zorst and IK.. or my kitted Fiesta with a blatent 2.0 badge on the rear, and 2.0 on the plates. I dont really go and try to get people to race any more, but will give it a short blast if they are obv trying to get me to race them...

Makes no difference when i race ,urban or open road,rush hour or 1am if it all goes wrong then its only "collateral damage".Didnt hear many tears on here for all those Iraqis that were getting killed a while back with the help of all the Taxes we pay ,so if you dont like street racing then go cry in ya beer else where cos you aint getting any sympathy from me.As for van racing it just goes to show everyones "at it" whether its lorries ,bikes or 2 fukcing allegros side by side.Even if im walking down the road and some fukcer starts walking quicker id speed up-born to race that me!

i agree there is times n places.only the other week i had some dickhead in a 1.2 or summat clio try racing me........i booted it n left him miles behind lol

i started coming up to some traffic so chilled it out a bit he came flying up behind us , overtook on a blind corner..........well i went round the guy in font n pulled up behind him, my lights bubbling the paintwork on his boot lol.pushing him towards a camera lol

sure enuff he took the bait n got flashed thru the camera as i anchored on, then booted it again to come round a corner to see him sideways in the middle of the road trying to avoid a car turning right on our side.after a bit of fishtailing he ended up hitting a lamp post and a wall head on at about 60 lol

in a brand new car

i stopped he got out n started runnin n throwin stuff at my car so i set off rapidly again.......

he smashed his car up...i stil have mine,iv since found out hes lost a bit more than his car lol

like his wife, his girlfriend and his mistress(who was in the car with him at the time of accident)

his house

his other car that his girlfriend had(while he borrowed her clio)

and his lisence

Racings where its at, and yes I follow the racers code. If your challenger goes on orange you dont even bother going for it, they have lost automatically. The hazard lights to rub it in is an old favourite. BTW Mr Slayer, were you trying to ave it with a light blue Escort Cossie the other day, up the A130 from the A127 junction up to the roundabout on London Road? Plate N1 COSSY?

I agree with ben. All this racers code of conduct seems to of been dreamt up. My attempts of racing on the road have always got a middle finger if i win or lose, theres never ever any friendlessness about it. Same with all modified cars, theres no community, everyones a rival. Which is why i now drive like a granny.

A quick demonstration about racing (true story!)

Muppet in white rs turbo escort (with stupid stripes down the side) is at set of lights to my left, me in scoob turning right at lights (this is a major junction btw).

Note that lights are on red for muppet in rs turbo escort and ive gone about 1/4 or so miles down the road and am turning right.

Road bends to the left, car is wanting to turn out of junction in which i wish to turn into (there is a little filter lane, and i mean little, ie 2 cars worth!)

Suddenly, mr muppet in white rs turbo shed escort with stupid stripes down the side comes flying up at 80+mph (note this is a 30 zone and hes speeding somewhat) nearly hits me and nearly hits the car pulling out of the junction (as hes on the wrong side of the road by this time!!!!) and god knows how he missed the car pulling out of the junction!

Only a few years before this muppet, a biker was killed at the junction opposite when a car pulled out of the junction (the biker was doing 90mph btw!!) so ill let you figure out whats good and whats not.....

on the road i use alot theres a turning with a little slip road, you used to be able to cross a duel carriage way to go in the other direction.

The amount of t-bones they had was enormous, cuz once you made it across two lanes you had to pull out into the fast lane or at least cross it from a standing start.

totally f**king mad, i never used it, would rather go five miles outta my way. theyve shut it now. A45 Rushden to Wellingborough Irchester turn if anyones familiar with Northants )
