Radiator fan not working

Any ideas please, i tested the fan and it does work. Removed the wires from temperature switch and put a bit of wire in to bypass the switch and nothing happens. Help please

I checked the fuse under the glove box. where would the second resister be? it is a 1994 clio 16v

My fan wouldnt switch off and it turned out to be a dodgy relay? Maybe worth a look?

it will more than likely be the fan itself - disconnect the wires going to it and then run a live feed direct to the fan itself. If it comes on it will either be a fuse / relay / faulty wiring. If it doesnt come on your fans had it.

I have already replaced the fan with a second hand one and did test it like you say before fitting it.
