Radio Code problem

I entered my radio code today, as I have done numerous times in the past, however when I held the button down to 'enter' the code, it did the beep but rather than go to the radio, it just stopped flashing and now just says CODE, not flashing. I can't press anything other than on and off and it just comes back on the same. Any ideas?

just leave it for an hour it will come back to life!!

you are holding no 6 once youve entered the code??

yes, or the bottom button on the steering wheel controls. It's been left for about 5 hours and when I got back in the car, it's still the same.

it will reset eventually the more times you've entered it the more time it will take to reset again.
