Radio Code?

Hey all!

Just picked up my 1st 172 Buttttt, the radio needs coding Someone mentioned some guys on here can get it with just the VIN number?

Anybody know about this?

Yeh Matt Black can get the code for you, as can edde I think.

The default radio code is printed on a sticker on the inside page of the service book (or one of the books) if it's not that then it's likely it's been recoded by a radio specialist.

If it has been recoded and you dont have the new code, you'll need it recoded by a radio specialist, I had to pay £25 to get mine recoded.

i lost mine too, but some helpful people helped on here who work for Renault just the other week

I havent got it in my service pack, so i rang Renault today.

What a joke!! I work for Ford, and we charge £15 and just get it, Renault want the log book, driving licence, passport, and a utility bill, plus all have to be in the owners name! Seeing as ive just bought it, looks like i have to wait 3 or 4 weeks to get the log book back!!

Can anyone on here who reads this help me?
